Red, White and Blue
It's amazing how one item can inspire a wardrobe
Since getting my Union Flag shoes from The British Flat Shoe Company, I've come over all patriotic and am drawn to a palette of red, white and blue.

Union Flag Ballerinas, The British Flat Shoe Company

I've always been fond of navy and of red, but not necessarily together. When I saw this dress from Joules though, I just fell in love with the pattern.
Worn with navy tights, it would be a good way of introducing some new spring clothes and enabling me to wear my ballerinas now in January.

Nautical Striped Jumper, Joules £69.95
Dress in French Navy Bouquet, Joules £69.95
Help for Heores Union Flag Scarf (10% proceeds to charity), Joules £34.95
Blue Henford Tweed Jersey jacket, Joules £99.95

Of course, I realise the Union Flag is not for everyone and an be a very sensitive symbol, but I think it's a great design.

The jersey tweed jacket is the same as the brown one I got in the Autumn. I was incredibly pleased with it. When I bought it, I remember telling the sales assistant should it come out in blue or grey I'll get it too.
A definite for my SS wardrobe.
